I am Andrei Korostelev, a software engineer living in the country where "the tulips grow, the windmills turn, the breakfast is chocolatey, the people industrious and the see tries to drown it all".
Here is some stuff that bothers me:
- Crispy Engineering - software company run by me. We produce tailored software for web and desktop. Check it out www.crispyengineering.com.
- VertaalPraktijk.com - translation agency run by my beloved wife Veronica with tech support from my side. If you are lost in translation from Dutch, Russian, English or German, she will help you find a way out.
- Open source software development - I do believe in open source and contribute to it when I have time. In fact being involved full-time in an open-source project is one of my long-term goals. Some of my contributions you can find at GitHub and on this site
- Personal productivity - with this I try to combine efficiency with fun. A good starting point is energy hacks, focus, time hacks. GTD and pomodoro are the practices I use in my daily routine.
- Mindfulness meditations - over the last years I tinkered with yoga and mindfulness in particular. I believe that due to their simplicity mindfulness practices are the optimal choice to start with a mental part of yoga. I am still on my way to turn these practices into a useful tool for myself.
One can hardly imagine me without a cup of Longjing or Japanese Sencha tea.
